Alessandra Todde is the President of the Sardinia Region, the first woman to hold the office. Born in Nuoro, she holds degrees in information science and computer science from the University of Pisa and spent a decade working internationally in technology, energy and finance. She served as Undersecretary and then Deputy Minister for Economic Development in the Conte and Draghi governments, and as Vice-President of the Movimento 5 Stelle. At the CoR, she sits on the ECON and ENVE commissions and in the Islands Interregional Group.
